Our Service Coverage

Core Service Areas

AAG IT Services has local teams and offices in Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Derby, Lincoln, London, Hull and Birmingham. These are our core service areas where we provide regular on-site support alongside remote monitoring.

We serve clients across England in these regions and visit regularly to understand your business, meet your team and see your technology environment first-hand.

Remote Support Across the UK

AAG supports clients throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Most day-to-day support happens remotely through our monitoring systems and helpdesk. This includes security monitoring, software updates, user support and system maintenance.

Our remote support capability means we can serve businesses anywhere in the United Kingdom effectively.

On-Site Response Times

For clients in our core service areas listed above, AAG engineers can attend on-site within an hour when needed.  Most other cities in the UK are no more than 2 hours away from an engineer.

Most technical issues are resolved remotely. On-site visits are typically needed for hardware installations, large project work or when we need to understand your working environment better.

On-Site and Remote Support

AAG handles most day-to-day support remotely. Our monitoring systems track your infrastructure 24/7. Our helpdesk responds to user requests and technical issues within 15 minutes during business hours.

On-site visits are required for physical hardware work, large project work, infrastructure changes and getting to know your team and environment. We believe the best partnerships come from sitting around a table together, understanding your culture and seeing how your team actually works.

For all clients, regardless of your location,, we visit regularly which is included as part of ongoing support. All scheduled based on your requirements.

Geographic Limitations

AAG IT Services serves clients throughout the United Kingdom. All of our clients are UK-based.

We do not currently support businesses based solely outside the UK. For UK-based businesses with international operations, we can absolutely support all of your operations with our 24/7 IT support service.

We are a people-first business, and building strong relationships with our clients is essential to how we work. Working with businesses based solely outside of the UK would compromise the face-to-face partnership approach we take with every client.

Is Our Location Right for You?

Location matters most when you need regular on-site support or value face-to-face strategic planning sessions.

You benefit most from being near one of our offices if:

  • You have physical servers or on-premise infrastructure requiring regular maintenance
  • You value meeting your IT partner in person to discuss strategy
  • You want us to understand your team culture and working environment
  • Your infrastructure requires hands-on work

You can work with us from anywhere in the UK if:

  • Most of your infrastructure is cloud-based
  • You’re comfortable with remote strategic reviews via video
  • Your team is confident with remote support for day-to-day issues
  • You need monitoring and helpdesk support rather than frequent on-site visits

How we handle multi-site organisations: If your business has offices across multiple locations, AAG assigns you a Strategic Account Manager closest to your main site. We can visit any of your locations as needed and coordinate support across all your sites remotely.

Why Location Matters for IT Companies

We’re on your doorstep. That means AAG can visit you on-site, understand your culture, meet your team and see exactly how technology works in your business.

We can watch your team in action, identify opportunities for automation and understand what needs to improve. We can sit around a table with your leadership team and plan your technology roadmap together.

We believe the best partnerships come from integration, not just remote monitoring. Being local means we can build a real relationship with you.

We’re available during your working hours. We offer 24/7 support as an optional service for clients who need it, whether for overseas support or for varying opening hours.

AAG’s local presence has built our reputation. We’ve been serving businesses in the North of England since 2009 and have grown into the Midlands and London by delivering results for local clients.

What to Consider When Choosing a Local IT Provider

Don’t assume the closest provider is automatically the best.

Ask about response times, support structure and whether they can resolve issues remotely. A provider slightly further away but properly resourced is often more reliable than a very local but under-resourced provider.

The things that actually matter are:

  • System uptime and reliability
  • Clear service level agreements
  • Ability to improve your processes and reduce costs
  • Strategic guidance that drives business growth
  • Security expertise and certifications

Smaller local IT support companies sometimes struggle to keep up with growing businesses. They may lack the certifications, security expertise or strategic capability you need. Going slightly further afield can give you access to a more capable partner.

AAG works with businesses across the UK. Many are local to our offices. Some are further away but value our strategic approach and are happy with scheduled visits and strong remote support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only work with local businesses?

No. Most AAG clients are local to one of our offices, but we support businesses throughout the UK. We provide the same level of service remotely and visit on-site when needed.

Our core monitoring, security and helpdesk services work regardless of location. For strategic planning and infrastructure projects, we schedule regular visits.

Can you work with us if we’re not near one of your offices?

Yes. AAG supports clients across England, Scotland and Wales.

If you need frequent on-site support, being near one of our office locations makes on-site response times faster. If most support can be handled remotely with occasional scheduled visits, location matters less.

We can discuss your specific needs and confirm whether we’re a good fit.

How quickly can you attend on-site?

For clients in our core service areas, AAG engineers can typically attend on-site within an hour for urgent issues.

For clients outside these areas, we schedule visits based on your needs. Most technical issues are resolved remotely, so on-site visits are usually planned rather than emergency responses.

Which office location is best for us?

The office locations listed above are where AAG has local teams and can provide the fastest on-site response.

If you’re based elsewhere in the UK, we can still support you effectively. We’ll assign you to the nearest team and schedule visits as needed.

The best way to decide is to talk to us about your infrastructure, support needs and how often you need on-site presence.

Which office would manage our account?

You’ll be assigned to the AAG team closest to your main site. That team manages your account, but our entire team can support you remotely through our shared systems.

If you have multiple sites across different regions, we coordinate support across all locations.
