How to turn off distractions in Microsoft Word
In this day and age, pop-ups, notifications, teams calls, funny cat memes, and the latest AAG tech tip can take all your focus away from the Word document you’re working on.
Not good.
Well, apart from the AAG tech tip, if we do say so ourselves.
However, for Microsoft Word users there is ‘Focus Mode’ which allows you to do exactly that, focus.
How to enable Focus mode in Microsoft Word
- Open your document in Microsoft Word.
- Look for the “View” tab in the ribbon at the top of the window.
- Within the “View” tab, Click “Focus” (this is in the immersive section)
- To exit Focus mode, hit ES
Alternatively, will see the Focus mode icon in the bottom right panel of your Word document.
