What is your working background before AAG?
Senior IT Leadership roles across multiple organisations including a major UK High Street Retailer and large European MSP.
What is your position at AAG?
IT Operations Manager
Can you tell us some of the experiences you've had throughout your time at AAG?
From day one at AAG, I experienced such a warm welcome. I have since relished in the challenge of unpicking some of our key processes, re-engineering them to make them more efficient and documenting end to end. As part of the Leadership Team, I am allowed the opportunity to contribute to the long-term vision of the business.
What are your hobbies/what you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my family, we have 2 WC Spaniels that require plenty of exercise! I love Rugby Union and will watch ALL world cup and 6 Nations games as well as following the premiership matches. Occasionally will be seen on a golf course or out Mountain Bike riding or watching movies.
What is the most interesting thing about you?
Appeared or Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and got a “place on the plane” – an all-inclusive holiday to Disney World Florida!
What is your proudest moment to date?
I have 2 – seeing my daughter take the lead role for her dance competition in Hamilton on stage in Blackpool in front of thousands of people and, my son (who has special needs) has pushed himself well outside of his comfort zone by performing in front of hundreds of people too.
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
Would have to be Sunday Roast Dinner – you can’t beat Roast Beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and veg!
